POP Surpasses $85,000 In Kickstarter Funding

James Siminoff
James Siminoff of Santa Monica, California has put together a charging device called POP.  POP is short for Portable Power.  The battery is capable of recharging portable devices as powered by a 25,000 mAh battery.

The charging station looks much more cooler than your average extension cord.  The POP has four dual-tipped retractable charging cables that have a dock connector and microUSB port.  POP will sell for $149, but Kickstarter users will be able to pre-order POP for $129.

POP will also offer a $99 POP station that has the same charging functionality, but without the battery backup.  POP had a goal of $50,000, but they have actually received nearly $90,000 as of today with 30 days left to go.
