The U.S. House of Representatives are considering a bill that would help reduce the amount of patent troll lawsuits. As you know, many people have such generalized patents and are going after the big companies so that they could make a pretty penny from it without actually innovating anything themselves. The act is being coined as “Saving High-Tech Innovators From Egregious Legal Disputes.” The act would cover hardware and software lawsuits. It could take some time for this act to actually be passed if successful though.
