According to Facebook’s 10-Q, 102 million people access Facebook just from their mobile device this past June.  This is a 23% increase over the 83 million mobile-only users that access the device in March.  Facebook has 543 million monthly mobile users and 18.7% have not visited their desktop website.  This means that Facebook has to move quickly on their mobile monetization strategy.

The Facebook 10-Q pointed out  “During the second quarter of 2012, the number of DAUs using personal computers was essentially flat, and declined modestly in certain key markets such as the United States and Europe, while mobile DAUs continued to increase.”
