IVP Leads $50 Million Round In Care.com

Institutional Venture Partners has led a $50 million round in Care.com.  Care.com now has a total of $111 million in funding and IVP’s Sandy Miller will be joining the company’s board of directors.  Care.com, Inc. was founded in 2006 and it has a directory of caregivers including child care, special needs, and pet care.  The website is used by 7 million users.  Care.com is based in Waltham, Massachusetts.  Existing venture capital companies Matrix Partners, New Enterprise Associates, and Trinity Ventures joined IVP in this round.
