Digia Acquiring Qt Assets

Digia is going to buy Nokia’s remaining Qt assets for a fraction of the purchase price that Nokia spent.  Digia partially acquired Qt last year and they plan to port the development platform to Windows 8 from Symbian and Meego.  Digia would also port Qt code to Android and iOS in the near future.  Nokia had acquired Qt parent company Trolltech for $150 million in 2008.
