Gannett Acquires BLiNQ Media For $92 Million

Gannett Co. is close to announcing a $92 million acquisition of BLiNQ Media.  BLiNQ specializes in building technology that helps boost engagement with Facebook ads.  BLiNQ was one of the first social media ad companies to revamp their services in a two-day period in order to take advantage of a recently-released Facebook API upgrade for brands to track conversions.  BLiNQ raised around $3.1 million in funding since they launched in 2008.
