Rdio Hits 18M Tracks, Signs Deals With CD Baby and TuneCore

Rdio is a digital music subscription service that has hit over 18 million songs. This was made possible through deals made with CD Baby and TuneCore. Before those two deals, Rdio had 15 million songs in their catalog. Rdio rivals Rhapsody has over 16 million songs and Spotify has around 18 million songs too. Tunecore has over 250,000 artist and label account holds with artists like NiN, Sonic Youth, Beck, Lil’ Wayne, and Jay-Z. CD Baby distributes over 4 million tracks to retailers. Rdio is backed up Atomico and is based in San Francisco.
