Samsung Electronics has announced the Galaxy Note II at IFA.  The Galaxy Note II will have a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280×720 resolution, 1.6GHz Exynos quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, and 1.9-megapixel web cam.  The device will be slightly thinner and heavier than the original Note device.  Connectivity on the phone include HSPA+ (21Mbps), LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, and WiFi.  The tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and will be available in 16GB/32GB/64GB options.  The device will be released in Europe first and will launch in the U.S. later this year.
