Apple Confirms iPhone 5 Is Coming September 12

Apple has confirmed that the name of the gadget that they are announcing on September 12 is the Apple iPhone 5.  When sending out invitations for a special event on September 12 featuring a giant 5 in the shadow of the date, the company indicated the name of the device.  The upcoming event is happening at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10AM in San Francisco.
