Apple Adds Search To The Mini-Player In iTunes 11

For those of you that use iTunes a lot just like me, you will be pleased to know that Apple has added search to the mini-player in iTunes 11.  Up until now, the mini-player just had the option to control the volume, play/pause, go to the previous track, and go to the next track.  Generally I do not like my music player consuming up a lot of desktop space on my monitor so I thought this was worth pointing out.  The search is split between Songs, Albums, and Artists.  You can click on + and it will add the song next on the queue… then it goes back to the playlist and picks up where it left off.
