Apple iPhone 5 Sells Out and Ship Date Is Delayed

If you want to skip waiting in line on Friday and order the iPhone 5 online, then you may have to wait for a while because the device is sold out and the ship date has been delayed.  Apple sold out of the iPhone 5 in about one hour and they pushed back shipping dates for pre-orders.  Apple’s website started taking orders for the iPhone 5 at midnight PST on Friday.  About one hour later, the shipping times were delayed from September 21st to two weeks.  On Friday morning EST, Apple was promising a two week wait for shipping.  Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster is predicting that Apple will sell 10 million iPhone 5 devices in the first 3 weeks.  [Mashable]
