Nintendo Wii U Is Arriving On November 18 For $299

Nintendo has recently announced that the Wii U will be arriving on November 18 at a starting price of $299. The company made the announcement at a press event in New York City on Thursday morning.
The basic console will have the Wii U console, the Wii U gamepad, charger, sensor bar, and an HDMI cable. The basic set can only be purchased in white. The deluxe Wii U will have an additional game pad and charger and Nintendo Land.
The deluxe Wii U will be available in black and costs $349. The Wii U will not have any Wii remotes or nun-chuck. The Wii U will work with old Wii accessories, but Wii U branded Wiimotes and nun-chucks will sell at retailers.
The Wii U GamePad had a 6.2-inch LCD touch screen and is an asynchronous monitor for the console. Like Nintendo Land, The New Super Marios Bros. U will be available at launch.
