Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak Wants To Become An Australian Because Of The Internet There
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak founded the company after he partnered with Steve Jobs. Wozniak became a multi-millionaire because of how well Apple is doing today, but he is keen on becoming an Australian citizen because of the way that Internet is being rolled out there.
Steve Wozniak said that he spoke to Communications Minister Stephen Conroy about supporting the government’s fiber roll-out.
“I spoke to him and they plan to roll it out to everyone in the country,” said Wozniak. “I support it very much. It’s one of the reasons why I actually like this country and want to become a citizen. I live in a country where we don’t have any regulation of telecommunications.”
