Apple’s Thin and Light Display Is Likely The Cause Of The Device Shortage

Apple iPhone 5

If you hold an iPhone 5 in one hand and an iPhone 4S on the other hand, you will notice that the iPhone 5 is much thinner and lighter.  A lot of that is due to the new screen used on the iPhone 5 since it uses in-cell display technology.  However it is also the reason why there is a product shortage.  Apple’s suppliers are struggling to keep up with the demand of the iPhone 5.

“This is like the opening weekend for the summer blockbuster movie,” stated iSuppli senior principal analyst Tom Dinges in an interview with Bloomberg. “They needed to get a lot of products in the door during a tight window, and these supply constraints that were talked about probably did have some impact.”  Apple sold 5 million iPhone 5 devices in the first weekend.

Hello! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for
this website? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had prlblems with hackers
and I’m looking at options for another platform.
I would be fantastic if you could point me in the
    direction of a good platform.
