EDGE Collective Hosting “Expand My Brand” Symposium In New York On Thursday

The other day, I received an e-mail about an interesting event being hosted by EDGE Collective.  EDGE’s event is called the “Expand My Brand” symposium and it is taking place on Thursday September 27th, 2012 from 1:30PM-6:30PM.  It will be at the Soho Gallery for Digital Art.  Although I will not be there in person, the event sounds pretty awesome.  Brands and agencies that will be on the panel include Google, LexisNexis, IAC, and American Express.  Startups will meet with top brands in a showdown to learn how social technology is shifting brand marketing.  One lucky startup will win around $30,000 in incubation assets to prove that they can expand any brand.  One of the most interesting keynotes will be from EDGE Collective co-founder and managing director Ryan Aynes.  He will talk about what he learned when he was homeless and had to sleep on the floor of the YMCA.  Below is an infographic about the event:
