PivotDesk Raises $3 Million Series A Funding

PivotDesk is a company based in Boulder, Colorado.  PivotDesk aims to help startups rent out extra office space.  According to an SEC filing, PivotDesk closed a $3 million Series A round of funding led by Foundry Group.  TechStars CEO David Cohen participated in this round of funding through Bullet Time Ventures.  PivotDesk’s CEO and TechStars mentor David Mandell is known to be a serial entrepreneur.  Startups can rent out office space by using PivotDesk to allow people to rent out their unused space under full legal protection.  PivotDesk helped find space for over 400 people mainly in the Boulder, Colorado area.  The company plans on using the funding to expand to other areas.
