Adobe Acrobat XI Is Tablet-Friendly

Adobe has announced a new line-up of Acrobat products including Pro, Standard, and Reader.  The new line of products are in their 11th generation.  Adobe has added two new programs called FormsCentral and EchoSign.  The two new programs are cloud-enabled services that permits “web contracting, forms creation, data collection and analysis.”  Adobe has also improved the tablet capabilities of the Acrobat line of products.

Adobe Reader now lets you sign and save forms along with the ability to annotate and add comments.  You can modify paragraphs, images, and objects using drag-and-drop.  PDFs can be saved as PowerPoints, Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets.

Extra security has been added to the new Acrobat.  Upgrades will start shipping within the next 30 days and will cost $449 for the Pro version and $299 for the Standard version.  Below is the press release:
