LISTEN: Steve Jobs Speech Tape From 1983 Talks The Future. He Foreshadows WiFi, The iPad, and App Store

In 1983, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs gave a speech at the International Design Conference in Aspen, Colorado.  Marcel Brown at Life, Liberty, and Technology made a copy of the tape and got rid of some of the background noise before he uploaded it.  After the speech, Jobs took some questions and ended up talking about how computers will become a major part of our everyday life.  He also said that networking in the home would be solved in about 10 years and that Apple’s strategy would be to “put an incredibly great computer in a book that you can carry around with you” that has a “radio link.”  Listen to the speech below:
