Xbox Music Launching On October 26

Microsoft is getting ready to launch the Xbox Music Service on October 26th.  According to sources with The Verge, Microsoft will confirm the new service that will launch around the same time as Windows 8.  Subscriptions of the Xbox Music Service will be available on Windows Phone, Windows 8, and Xbox 360.  A free version of the music service will be available and supported by ads just like Spotify.  One of the key aspects of the service is Microsoft SkyDrive, which allows users to store music and their playlists in the cloud.  Microsoft is planning to offer the Xbox Music service on iOS and Android too.
