Facebook Launches A Pinterest-Like User Interface For Collections

Facebook has taken some of the user interface ideas from Pinterest and has applied it to a new feature called “Collections.”  Facebook’s Collections feature lets people grab product images from brand pages and showcase it as a collection.  Facebook is testing this feature with 7 retailers like Victoria’s Secret and Pottery Barn.  Along with each photo is the price and purchase link.  Facebook does not charge a referral fee, but it is likely that Facebook would try and find a way to capitalize from it.  Images will not show up in your News Feed unless you are following the company.
