Pearl.com Raises $25.7 Million In Series B
Pearl.com is a Q&A website that used to be known as JustAnswer. Pearl.com has raised $25.7 million in Series B funding. Pearl.com plans to use the funding to expand their product globally and build on their mobile plans and grow their current staff of over 300 employees.
One of the company’s recent hires is Erik Zech, whom will be the company’s first CFO. Pearl.com has revenues of over $100 million. Pearl.com uses pay money to ask opinions from professionals like doctors, lawyers, mechanics, etc. Question prices range from between $15-$80.
Pearl.com has around 10,000 professionals in their network across 700 specialties. This new round of funding was led by Glynn Capital, Charles Schwab, and Crosslink Capital. Pearl.com originally started in 2003 and has raised $50 million to date.
