Google iPhone App 2.5 Has Some Solid Siri Competition

Google has released version 2.5 of their iPhone application yesterday.  A new feature has been built in the app that competes directly against Siri.  It is essentially a voice command feature that lets you search for anything including math problems and it vocally gives you an answer.  The built-in voice search app in the Google app looks similar to the one that is built into the Android phone known as Google Now.

The Google voice search app works very fast compared to Siri.  You can ask questions like “Is my flight on time” and “can you play for trailer for The Avengers?”  You can also ask “What’s the weather?”
