Nicole Scherzinger Wore A Dress That Has Real-Time Tweets

Singer Nicole Scherzinger wore the world’s first Twitter dress in London on Friday night.  Ms. Scherzinger is known as the lead singer of the group The Pussycat Dolls.

The black dress had over 2,000 LED lights displaying a real time Twitter feed of messages that were sent by fans that used the hashtag #tweetthedress.  The gown was made by fashion technology company CuteCircuit as part of a launch of EE, the UK’s first 4G mobile network.  The dress is able to recharge using USB.

“It’s crazy,” stated Ms. Scherzinger at the event. “It’s a dress they designed specifically for me and I have all these LED packs and lights hidden on my body. I have live Twitter is right across my “area” down there!”
