Billtrust Raises $25 Million From Bain Capital
Billtrust is a software-as-a-service company that helps manage online billing for companies. Billtrust has raised $25 million from Bain Capital Ventures, bringing them to a total of $30 million in total funding raised.
Billtrust started 11 years ago and they have been providing e-billing and payments services for consumers and businesses across North America. Many newspaper groups use Billtrust to power their online billing for subscriptions too.
Billtrust’s revenue has increased tenfold over a five-year period. They plan to use this round of funding for acquisitions.
