Amazon.com Ending $7.99 Monthly Prime Trial

Amazon.com Prime gives users free two-day shipping, a free book per month from the Amazon Lending Library for Kindle, and instant streaming of movies and TV from Instant Videos.  The company used to offer $7.99 per month for the service and the annual cost of Prime is $79.  The monthly option made it easier for users to spread that cost of the subscription.  The monthly billing option was a test and is no longer available.  [Phandroid]
