Microsoft Announces Windows 8 App Creator TouchDevelop

If you have an interest in building a Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 app, then you may want to consider using the TouchDevelop Web App.  Microsoft’s Research team announced the TouchDevelop Web App, which is a spin-off from the previously released TouchDevelop App for Windows Phone.

“Ever since we released TouchDevelop, we’ve been eyeing the tablet form factor and working on a version for the browser. Now, with the release of TouchDevelop Web App, the wait is over,” said Microsoft Research in a blog post.

To use the tool, you will need to log in with Windows Live, Facebook, or your Google account to access the TouchDevelop Web App page.  From there, you can watch tutorial videos on how to use tools to make Windows Phone 8 or Windows 8 applications.
