Russian Furniture E-Commerce Company Mebelrama Raises $10 Million

One of the portfolio companies in the startup incubator company Rocket Internet called Mebelrama has raised $10 million.  Mebelrama is a furniture and household goods e-commerce company.  This round of funding will go towards expanding their goods.  They will also move to a new warehouse and build their distribution beyond Moscow.

The company is expecting their revenue to increase to around $500 million by 2015.  This is Mebelrama’s second round of funding received from Rocket Internet.

The company officially launched in September 2011 and they raised between $4 and $6 million in the same year.  Another Rocket Internet company called Lazada raised $26 million earlier this week.
