Twitter Passes 200 Million Monthly Active Users

Twitter has announced that they have surpassed 200 million monthly active users.  This is an increase of 60% from the 140 million monthly active user milestone that they hit back in March, which was when the company turned 6 years old.  And this is a 42% increase in the size of their active user base in less than a year.  The company is also hitting around 400 million tweets per day.
