Steve Jobs Film Starring Ashton Kutcher Coming In April

jOBS is a documentary film about the late Apple CEO Steve Jobs.  The film is starring Ashton Kutcher, whom is playing Steve Jobs.  This film will be arriving in theaters in April.  jOBS is a different film from one that is begin created by Sony Pictures based on Walter Isaacson’s biography of Steve Jobs.

jOBS is premiering on the closing night of the Sundance Film Festival.  jOBS was directed by Joshua Michael Stern and was written by Matthew Whitely.  The movie was shot by Russell Carpenter and was produced by Mark Hulme.  Other stars in the film include Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons, and Matthew Modine.

Part of the film’s location was set in the original garage in Palo Alto where Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak built the first Mac computer.  Steve Jobs passed away from pancreatic cancer in October 2011.  Ashton Kutcher is known for starring in TV shows like That 70’s Show and Two and a Half Men.  He is also known for investing in many tech startups.
