Google Handwrite Now Has Better Character Recognition
Google Handwrite is a service that lets you write your search right on the Google homepage. You use your finger to draw legible characters. Up until now, the service lacked the ability to recognize characters written in Chinese and Japanese. Google recently updated the service to fix that.
Users also had to deal with limitations of the screen size on smartphones. Now Google Handwrite lets users write on top of previous letters.
Another major improvement is that Google added a manual correction feature that lets a user select the correct number or letter. This helps if you write a “2,” but Google thinks it may have been a “z.”
