Alcatel has announced that they have launched a new line of tablets called the One Touch Tab.  Each of the tablets will be arriving in Q3 with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) built in.  Unfortunately the One Touch Tab will not have a mobile data option because they will be limited to just WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0.

The One Touch Tab 7 HD will have a price of $149.  Specs include a 7-inch WXGA (1,280 x 800) IPS display, 1GB RAM, and a dual-core 1.6GHz CPU.  The One Touch Tab 8 HD has an 8-inch XGA (1,024 x 768) IPS display and a retail price of $179.  Both tablets has 1GB RAM, 8GB storage with microSD expansion, 2-megapixel rear camera, and a VGA front-facing camera.  The One Touch Tab 7 has a 7-inch WSVGA (1,024 x 600) TFT display, 1GB RAM, and a single-core 1GHz CPU.  The non-HD model is $20 less than the HD version.
