37signals Launches Basecamp Personal, A Basecamp For Small Projects

37signals’ Basecamp is used by small and medium sized businesses for collaboration.  The tool is used for home improvement, school projects, etc.  However their customers have complained that Basecamp is priced perfectly for businesses, but not for personal projects.  This is why 37signals launched the service Basecamp Personal.  Basecamp Personal does not have a monthly subscription fee.  Instead it has a one-time $25 fee.  Basecamp Personal includes 1GB of file space that 5 people can access.  Basecamp Personal is currently only available to Basecamp users.  Eventually it will be opened up to everyone.  [Source: 37signals Blog]

If you’d like a tool for managing your time and projects, you can use Gtdagenda.

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, and a calendar.
Syncs with Evernote and Google Calendar, and also comes with mobile version, and Android and iPhone apps.
