AppNexus Raises $75 Million In Series D

AppNexus is a company that has a real-time bidding platform that has raised $75 million in funding.  The Series D round of funding was led by Technology Crossover Ventures.  Investors that participated in this round include Venrock and Tribeca Venture Partners.  AppNexus has raised a total of $140.5 million. 

Other investors in AppNexus include Microsoft, Kodiak Venture Partners, First Round Capital, Marc Andreessen, Ben Horowitz, Ron Conway and Khosla Ventures.  AppNexus CEO Brian O’Kelley was the CTO of Right Media (acquired by Yahoo! for $850 million).  

AppNexus managed around $700 million in advertising spend and their revenues have tripled.  AppNexus has over 400 employees across 9 offices worldwide.
