Google+ Is Now The 2nd Largest Social Platform Globally

According to GlobalWebIndex, Google+ now has 343 million active users and is the second large social network across the world.  Many people dismissed Google+ in the past as a “virtual ghost town,” but perspectives have changed.  Google’s senior VP of engineering Vic Gundotra quipped “that is a lot of ghosts.”

Google+ still has a bit of a way to go to catch up to Facebook’s 700 million active users, but Google+ has not been around for that long.  Fortunately for Google, they also own the #3 top social platform: YouTube.
