Olympus Announces The Stylus XZ-10
The Olympus Stylus XZ-10 point-and-shoot compact camera that has FlashAir wireless image transfer. The XZ-10 has a 5x, f/1.8 – 2.5, 26mm to 130mm i.ZUIKO Digital optical zoom lens according to SlashGear.
The Stylus XZ-10 lens is treated with ZERO (ZUIKO Extra-low Reflection Optical) coating. The coating is supposed to reduce flares and ghosting. The Stylus XZ-10 has a 3-inch 920k TFT display, dual image stabilization, 10x digital zoom, 5x optical zoom, and 12-megapixel sensor.
The Stylus XZ-10 has a Super Macro mode that lets you take macro images that can be taken as close as 1 centimeter and an ND filter for exposure control.
Videos can be recorded in slow motion at 240fps/432 x 324 resolution in 720p at 120fps and 720p widescreen at 30fps. Videos can be recorded at 1080p HD at 30fps. Stylus XZ-10 videos are recorded in MOV format (H.264 MPEG).
Olympus added filters in the Stylus XZ-10 to make images look more creative. The camera has a feature called Photo Story. Photo Story lets users take several images and combine them into one. The photo filters include 5 art effect and 11 art filters.
The Stylus XZ-10 will be available towards the end of the month in black, white, and brown.
