Plympton Merges With DailyLit
Plympton is a serial publishing startup company that is named after a street in Harvard Square. Plympton is merging with DailyLit through a partnership that will expand Plympton’s reach while offering new content to DailyList’s audience.
Plympton made a deal with Amazon.com before the giant online retailer launched their serial publishing platform. Plympton focuses on original writing that focuses on literary episodes. DailyLit focuses on repurposing existing classic literature.
Plympton founder Jennifer 8. Lee wrote that the partnership will build on an “intimate and direct relationship” that DailyLit has with its customers as they explore new opportunities for growth.
“That means everything from commissioning works meant to be read natively in digital format to finding the best way to deliver those stories to readers,” wrote Lee.
