Guy Fieri Does Not Buy Domain Name For His Restaurant So A Prankster Does [UPDATED]
Guy Fieri is a celebrity chef that is known for shows like Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and Guy’s Big Bite on the Food Network channel. Fieri also owns several restaurants including one called Guy’s American Kitchen and Bar. The website for Guy’s American Kitchen and Bar is Guysamerican.com, but his technical team did not buy the domain name Guysamericankitchenandbar.com. Bryan Mytko decided to snap up the domain name and create a parody website for the restaurant. Mytko parodies the restaurant menu from the real restaurant’s website.
Some of the fake menu items include: The Honky-Tonky Double Barrel Meat Loaded Blast, which is when a “Sammy Hagar lookalike pushes your face into a leather bag filled with oil and if you eat the whole thing, you get a 13 pound burger.” The Panamania is a “deep fried snake with a printed out picture of David Lee Roth stapled on it and a sparkler sticking out of each eye. Served with a side of Bud Light you have to wring out of a Hawaiian shirt.” The Blitzmas Beast is “two jumbo Big Gulp Slurpee cups filled with nacho cheese and tied to each other with 25 bacon strips fashioned into a giant bow. Shellacked with Slim Jim style jus, and topped with a dollop of smoked kitchen leavings.”
UPDATE: A lot of the items on the parody menu were lifted from a couple comedian Twitter accounts [DailyDot].
Guy Fieri didn’t register his restaurant’s domain name, so I picked it up. I think this new menu look greatguysamericankitchenandbar.com
