Intel Capital Invests In BlueStacks

Intel Capital has invested an undisclosed amount in BlueStacks.  BlueStacks’ software is optimized for mobile chips.

“Intel has an extremely powerful PC ecosystem, and they are looking to move into mobile in a big way,” stated Bluestacks VP of marketing and business development John Gargiulo in an interview with VentureBeat. “There are more and more Intel chips on Android phones, so I think the alignment is clear.”

The BlueStacks App Player lets you run applications from your phone fullscreen on Mac and Windows.
