Rally Software Files For A $70 Million IPO
Boulder, Colorado based Rally Software has filed an S-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as part of a $70 million IPO. Deutsche Bank and Piper Jaffray will be the lead book-running managers for the IPO. Needham & Company, JMP Securities, and William Blair & Company will be co-managers of the deal.
Rally Software builds application lifecycle management for developers. The company also offers training and cloud-based solutions for managing the Agile development lifecycle. Some of their customers include Edmunds.com, FICO, CNET, Perot Systems, Sony, and Hewlett Packard.
Rally Software was founded in 2002. The company raised $70 million in venture capital through 6 rounds of funding. Investors in the company include Greylock Partners, Mobius Venture Capital, Boulder Ventures, and Meritech Capital Partners.
