Haiku Deck Raises $3 Million In Series A Funding

Haiku Deck is a company that has built a presentation-creator iPad application.  The company has raised $3 million in their first round of funding.  The funding was led by Trilogy Partnership with participation from Madrona Venture Group, Founders Co-op, and several angel investors.

Haiku Deck is used to be creatie infographics and presentations.  It can also be used to organize videos and set up webinars. Haiku Deck helps solve the problem of making sure that slide presentations are no longer boring.

Haiku Deck previously used to be known as Giant Thinkwell, an entertainment platform used by celebrities to engage with fans online. The company built an online game called Mix-N-Match, which featured Sir Mix A Lot. Haiku Deck participated in Seattle Startup Weekend and TechStars Seattle.
