Zonoff Raises $3.8 Million

Based in Malvern, Pennsylvania, Zonoff is a company that has built automation software for a connected home.  Zonoff has raised $3.8 million in funding led by Valhalla Partners and Grotech Ventures. Zonoff plans on using the funding to hire additional talent and support existing customers. Zonoff currently has 18 employees.

The Zonoff Connected Home Platform consists of Home, Cloud, and App software.  The software works behind the scenes with their Channel Partners to deliver home automation, energy management, and remote control.

“We’re excited to reach this next milestone in our progress,” stated Zonoff co-founder and CEO Mike Harris. “This investment validates our approach in building a software platform for our channel partners, who are typically large consumer-facing companies that have deep and trusted ties with consumers.”

Harris previously founded a company called AnySource and sold it to DivX for $15 million in September 2009.
