The Sims 4 Is Coming To Macs and PCs In 2014
Electronics Arts has announced today that The Sims 4 will arrive on PCs and Macs in 2014. The Sims 3, the predecessor of The Sims 4, received many expansions ever since it was released in 2009. This includes The Sims 3 University Life, The Sims 3 Monte Vista, The Sims 3 Supernatural, and The Sims 3 Katy Perry’s Sweet Treats.
“The Sims franchise is fueled by the passion and creativity of its millions of fans around the world. Their continued devotion to the franchise ignites the fire of creativity of the team at The Sims Studio, driving them to continually improve and innovate on one of the world’s most successful simulation game that has sold more than 150 million copies worldwide,” said EA in a blog post.
EA plans to continue supporting The Sims 3 throughout this year including the Island Paradise, Dragon Valley, and Movie Stuff expansion packs.
The Sims is a strategic, life-simulation video game series that was originally developed by Maxis and later The Sims Studio. The Sims was one of the most successful video game series of all time since it sold over 150 million copies and became the best-selling PC franchise in history.
Gamers create virtual people known as “Sims” and place them in houses. The mood of the “Sims” are based on what is purchased for the house and how much sleep they get.
