Tremor Video Files For An IPO

Tremor Video is a video ad network that is working on going public.  Based in New York, Tremor Video has filed an S-1.  The company is going on a road show for investors within the next month also.

Tremor Video reported that they lost $16.4 million on revenues of $105.2 million.  In the previous year, the company reported that they lost $21 million on revenues of $90.3 million.  In the same period, gross margins improved from 35.2% to 41.7%.  The company’s ads run on over 500 websites and mobile apps.

Tremor Video investors include Canaan Partners (owns over 19%), W Capital, Masthead Venture Partners, Meritech Capital, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and General Catalyst.

Tremor Video has plans to raise at least $86 million while trading on the NYSE with the stock symbol “TRMR.”
