The Acer Iconia W3 Is The First 8-Inch Windows 8 Tablet
At Computex 2013, Acer announced several new products. The Acer Iconia W3 is the first 8-inch tablet that is powered by the Windows 8 operating system. The Iconia W3 also has an Intel Atom Z2760 processor. The Iconia W3 comes with the 2013 Microsoft Office Home & Student suite bundled.
The Iconia W3 has a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and can render 720p videos. The Iconia W3 tablet is being offered as a standalone unit, but you can buy a separate Bluetooth keyboard that holds the tablet upright.
The Iconia W3 has up to 8 hours of better life, WiFi, 32GB/64GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, a micro-HDMI port, and two cameras (front- and rear-facing). The Iconia W3 is available at a cost of $379.
