Google Street View Adds Imagery From Dubai’s Burj Khalifa

Google Street View Burj Khalifa
Google has taken imagery from the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and added it to the Google Street View service.  The Burj Khalifa is known as being the world’s largest manmade structure.  The Burj Khalifa opened in 2010 and it is 2,716 feet tall, making it a major tourist attraction.  The 360-degree panoramic imagery was collected over three days using the Street View Trekker and Trolley.  Photos are both indoors and outdoors around the building.

You can even see the world’s largest observation deck on the 124th floor and check out the view from the building maintenance unit on the 80th floor.  Floor number 163 is the highest occupied floor in the world and Street View lets you check it out.

Google Street View has been doing some extensive traveling to help people see places that they have never seen before.  For example, the service has recently added Galapagos Islands, Mt. Everest, Kilimanjaro, and the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indiana.
