Propeller Raises $1.25 Million From Several Investors
Propeller is a service that lets you create your own native applications. The company has raised $1.25 million from Andreessen Horowitz, ffAngel, Menlo Ventures, Foundation Capital, Max Levchin, Keith Rabois, Ashton Kutcher, Scott Banister, Lee Linden, Jason Portnoy, Rothenberg Ventures, and Alfred Mandel.
Upon launching, Propeller will allow users that do not know how to code their own applications build native mobile apps. These can be used for weddings, businesses, etc. It uses a drag-and-drop interface and has several templates. From there, the apps can be deployed on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
According to TechCrunch, Propeller will be using the funding to hire more talent and refine their innovations before fully launching.
