LinkedIn Drastically Improves Search In Their Mobile Apps
LinkedIn recently updated their mobile application. The new LinkedIn mobile application makes it possible for users to easily search for jobs, companies, groups, and people while on-the-go. Now when you search on the LinkedIn mobile app, the results will not be limited to just people.
“Find and discover more than 225 million professionals, 3 million Company Pages, 2 million Groups and thousands of job opportunities via the magnifying glass icon at the top of the navigation screen. If you’re meeting someone new at Microsoft, look up that person and the Microsoft Company Pagebeforehand to see things you have in common. While you’re at it, search for the Microsoft Surface group on LinkedIn to hear what people are saying about the product. And if you end up having a great meeting and loving Microsoft, you may even want to search for jobs at Microsoft,” wrote LinkedIn on their company blog.
There are several other new features available on the LinkedIn mobile apps. You can also tap on “Add Shortcut” at the bottom of the navigation pane of the app to put specific companies in your feed. It also lets you click on “Who’s Viewed Your Updates” and “You Recently Visited.” The “Who’s Viewed Your Updates” section lets you see who has seen your updates and how many likes/shares/comments it received over 14 days.
