Cloud Management Company Zimory Raises $20 Million
Zimory is a cloud management company that has raised $20 million in funding, according to TheNextWeb. This round of funding was led by Deutsche Boerse. Creathor Venture, High-Tech Gruenderfonds (HTGF), IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft (IBB), KfW, and T-Venture also participated in this round.
Deutsche Boerse also works with Zimory as a business partner. Deutsche Boerse is planning to launch an independent exchange for trading cloud computing capacity through a partnership with Zimory called the Deutsche Boerse Cloud Exchange. This will make it possible for IT resources to be traded electronically within seconds.
Zimory plans to use the funding for boosting their sales and marketing. Founded in 2007, Zimory is based in Berlin. The company has development centers in Erfurt, Germany; Minsk, Belarus; and New York City, New York.
