TalentBin Raises $2 Million Led By Lightbank

is a San Francisco based startup that develops tools made for tech recruiters.  The company has raised $2 million in a round of funding led by Lightbank, the venture capital firm run by Groupon co-founders Eric Lefkofsky and Brad Keywell.  New Enterprise Associates also participated in this round as they have a close relationship with Lightbank.

Groupon used TalentBin to find technical talent that do not often use LinkedIn.  TalentBin has generated over 500 million profiles of job candidates by scraping several websites.

New Enterprise Associates also invested in other Lightbank backed companies like Beachmint, Sprout Social Eventup, and Poggled.  NEA invested in four of Keywell and Lefkofsky’s companies like Groupon, Echo Global Logistics, Media Ocean, and InnerWorkings.

Foundation Capital and FundersClub also participated in this round for TalentBin.
