Lenovo Is No Longer Selling The Windows RT Powered Yoga 11 Convertible PC

Lenovo Yoga 11
is no longer selling the Yoga 11 convertible PC powered by the Windows RT operating system, according to PCWorld.  This is a sign that PC companies are becoming less committed to the Windows RT operating system in favor of Android.

The Yoga 11 is no longer being sold through the Lenovo website, but it can still be purchased through a Lenovo retailer or reseller.  TigerDirect is still selling the Yoga 11 for $495, but it is not being sold at Best Buy.  Best Buy is selling the Yoga 11S, which is a hybrid that was released earlier this year using the Windows 8 operating system.

The Yoga 11 hybrid was one of the few computers that uses Windows RT, which was specifically designed for tablets.  The Yoga 11 works as both a tablet and a laptop.

Earlier this week, Microsoft also announced that they are dropping the starting price of the Surface RT to $349 from the $499.  The price of RT tablets from Dell and Asus have all been dropped to under $300.
